Different pronunciations of German "ö", spoken long or short.
There are slight differences with the short or long spoken ö-Umlaut:

The short "ö" sounds more open: the lower jaw is slightly droped, lips are more relaxed.

The long "ö" sounds closed: the mouth is less open, lips are more forward.
Click on "play all" and listen to 3 short "ö"'s followed by 3 long spoken "ö"'s.
You can check the translations later in the mouse-overs, but first just practise listening and repeating the different sounds.
